LAMSA

Atbara – Sudan

Created on June 2024

In the middle of a war zone, a couple of dentists wanted to change the industry in their city, with increased needs of medical services, they built LAMSA dental lab, a starting point of a brand was born in the middle of struggle to be one of the greats.

CHALLENGE

Having to work in the medical field at war times is absolutely insane,, but when a brand is born from those specific needs, it goes beyond just looking for profit & into human services territory that many others fails to deliver, even with good intentions.

Intention is what made the brand comes to life, as the two founders where going to building a medical career life with their own standards, they believe of opportunity in the middle of struggle, specially Sudan, having a huge unrest in terms of safety and logistics efficiency.

CONCEPT

The main design concept comes from the brand itself (LAMSA) meaning (a soft touch) in Arabic, themed as an Arts studio rather than a medical lab, defining all dentists as a kind of aesthetics related service.

The brush was the main-lead show in the brand persona, it resembles an artists touch with medical weight, merges two of the biggest demands (beauty & healthiness), each completes the other.

SOLUTION

With Lamsa, we didn’t just reinvent the dentistry medical service in Sudan, the brand is becoming a local icon with spread locations around the country due to the extreme need of their services as a dental lab, working with hospitals and medical entities.

The brand established a trust with speaking local language and engage other awareness related information about your health in general & your teeth health in specific.

The minimal design merges the premium feel & (cost) of dentistry, the approachability from common people and customers, as they see a young, well designed brand that deals with their everyday pain, which made it one of the most successful dental related brands at the moment that we are very proud of.
